The Foxton 5K Fun Run 2013 will be held on Sunday 8 September at 10 a.m.

 

The course is a 5K loop, mainly off road with a single significant incline, starting and finishing at the Pavilion, Foxton, Cambridge, CB22 6RN.

 

A shorter mini fun run for those aged under 6 will also be held on the recreation ground, starting and finishing at Foxton Pavilion.

 

Car parking and a limited changing area with toilets is available at the Pavilion. Try not to travel by car if possible - please cycle, walk or take the train!

 

Sorry, the main event is not suitable for wheelchairs and while dogs are welcome to spectate they may not participate in the run.

 

The run is organised by Foxton Skatepark Fundraising Group.

 

There is a limit of 225 entrants and there will be prizes and timings for the top 3 runners in each category. Categories are: adult male, adult female and KS1 (minimum age 6), KS2 and KS3 boys and girls.

 

Entries are now open.  Entry is £6 per person, £15 for a family of three or £20 for a family of four. The aim of the Fun Run is to raise funds to build a skatepark in Foxton and participants are encouraged to obtain sponsorship. Mini fun run entry is £2 payable in advance or on the day.

 

Refreshments will be available for spectators and participants.
